Holland America Line  confirms that its ship "Westerdam" (pictured) struck a chunk of ice in Yakutat Bay, Alaska (near the Hubbard Glacier) this past Tuesday, sustaining a dent below the waterline. The line says the ship's hull was not breached, so the vessel continued on schedule and its upcoming departures will operate as scheduled.
